Motto
Reentry, not Recidivism!
Mission
To stabilize our community by reducing recidivism and re-integrating the offender into the community.
Vision
To become a model one stop for prison reentry services (pre-release & post-release).
Goals
Train faith-based and community-based organizations how to serve the ex-offender.
Provide the ex-offender with the necessary tools to be able to obtain employment, keep employment, provide for their
families and create pathways to careers.
Assist the ex-offender in becoming a productive, respectful, and receptive citizen.
History
New Beginning Outreach began its ministry of serving individuals in July 2006 by providing housing for homeless youth
and adults who were also ex-offenders. Mr. Jones owned a home that he had moved out of and ways trying to sell it, but
at the time a young neighbor boy was put out of his home and had nowhere to go. Mr. Jones allowed him to stay in the
house until he was able to move. Within 1 month the home was full to capacity with 17 people living in a 4-bedroom home
and all ex-offenders needing assistance. Mr. Jones then made it mandatory that everyone living in the home would have to
come down to his office and be case managed, search for employment, and attend a life skills class. The home, within 6
months increased to 5 homes, housing 30 ex-offenders, and within one year had 200 participants in the program.
Currently, New Beginning Outreach is centrally located in the heart of Antelope Valley where collaborations and partnerships
with local community 501(c)(3) non-profit agencies have come together under the umbrella of new Beginning Outreach to provide
on-site reentry services for ex-offenders. Services are also offered to the unemployed and/or low income individuals.

DON'T BE A STATISTIC!
Experts say that each year more than 650,000 inmates are released from Federal & State prisons and return to their communities and families.
The return of these ex-prisoners threatens the fragile cohesion in many of the most troubled neighborhoods in America. Without
help, a majority of ex-prisoners return to criminal activity and return to prison/jail with a new crime. Won't you give
us a call?
